    www.FoodSafety.gov -Is a "gateway" web site designed to help the public find government food safety information more readily on the web. The siet provides links to food safety-related web sites from federal, state and local government agencies.

    www.mymenus.com -Meals for You web page. Can do search for recipes by word, meal plans by category, individual recipes by category, recipes by ingredient, recipes by course, etc.

    www.gti.net/mocolib1/kid/food.html -Web site for The Food Timeline. It has food from 17,000 BC to the present with links to information on each one. Try looking up Broccoli (6,000 BC) and Graham Crackers (1829). The links are fun and great for kids!

    www.fns.usda.gov/fns -USDA, FNS web page contains information on sveral programs and initiatives including: Food Stamps, WIC, Child Nutrition, Food Distribution, Team Nutrition, School Breakfast Campaign and food recovery and gleaning.

www.nal.usda.gov/ -This is the USDA Agricultural Library page. As a CACFP participant you have a right to check out materials (including audiovisuals) from the library.

    www.ed.gov/free/ -Federal Resources for Educational Excellence web site. This is a new site that bills itself as a one-stop site for teaching and learning resources. There are dozens of resources for teaching and learning from more than 35 federal agencies who collaborated on it's creation. Select "Health & Safety" and look at the many link sto other resources.
