partnership history & Membership

In 1988, five core agencies serving families and young children identified unmet community needs, which led them to research and apply for the Healthy Families program. With the addition of Even Start and Healthy Families programs in 1995, the “Home Visiting Managers Group” began meeting monthly. Quarterly inter-agency training began, and the group developed the Teen Family Center concept. In 1999, The Juneau Transition Team formed, which included many of the same team members.
